Would it be possible to install more capacity for the proquest database servers? I often find that it takes quite some time to load the initial search bar. This has occured at night, in the morning, and afternoon. If this could be remedied, it would greatly facilitate my reasearch efforts. Thanks.

Hi, Jed,

ProQuest is a database to which the library subscribes. If the initial search page loads slowly it must be because of some issue on their end. To be honest, the connection time in the library is pretty fast; I would not describe it as slow, regardless of the connect time.

I will contact ProQuest to let them know of your concern. If you have any questions, etc., please feel free to contact me: fosterr@sunyit.edu
